About this machine

The Kilter AX-1 is an autonomous field robot with a track width of 1550–2000 mm for precision weed control in vegetable production. AI-based plant recognition identifies crops and weeds in real time and applies herbicide precisely where needed. Its patented Single-Drop Technology places tiny droplets on a 6 mm grid, conserving resources while working close to crop plants. The reference describes reduced chemical use and manual labour, with higher marketable yields and significant yield advantages in field trials compared with conventional practice. The AX-1 also broadens the range of usable active ingredients because selectivity is provided by the software rather than the herbicide. For growers, the intended benefits are more sustainable production, consistent quality and improved returns from the same area.
